Fred L Baker is the Democratic running for  State House of Representatives, District 28 which includes Tooele city, part of Stansbury Park, and everything on the east side of UT-36 down to I-80, but does not include Lakepoint.

I am putting myself forward as a candidate to provide an alternative to the hysteria, misleading information and outright lies present in the political environment today. Moreover, it is insufficient merely to stand against something that is wrong. One is obliged to present a reasonable, well-thought-out plan that can be done and will directly benefit our community. 

Biographically speaking my wife and I are not native to Utah and didn't actually live here until I retired from the Air Force. We moved to Tooele in 2002. We did pay Utah income tax from 1980 to 2002 while on active duty, so we should be established residents.
